Tracy has been making documentaries since 1998.

She directed POLITICAL ANIMALS a feature documentary about four trail-blazing women who secured LGBT rights. It's won multiple awards, including both the Audience and Jury Awards for Best Documentary at the 2016 LA Film Festival. Distributed by Gravitas Ventures, it was broadcast nationally on Pivot television network, locally on KCET, and is available on multiple streaming platforms and on demand.

She was also producer and cinematographer for BOMB IT, a feature documentary about graffiti and street art around the globe. It premiered in the world competition section of the Tribeca Film Fest in 2007.
